Who we are

Falam Christian Community (FCC) (“FCC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website fccmls.org and related FCC online services.

FCC uses its website to provide church information, events, sermons and media, leadership information, ministry resources, Shekhem Mekazin articles, and other community information.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect information such as:

  • Name, email address, phone number, or other contact information that you voluntarily provide.

  • Messages, enquiries, prayer requests, feedback, or other information you send to FCC.

  • Basic technical information such as browser type, device information, pages visited, approximate location, and similar usage information produced by website hosting, security, or analytics services.

  • Information required for authorized FCC website administrators, editors, reviewers, and publishers to sign in and use the FCC Website Editor.

Google Sign-In and FCC Website Editor

FCC uses Google Sign-In to authenticate authorized users of the FCC Website Editor.

When an authorized user signs in with Google, FCC may receive basic Google account information such as:

  • Email address

  • Display name

  • Profile image

  • Google account identifier

This information is used to:

  • Confirm the identity of the user.

  • Match the user with an FCC-authorized account.

  • Determine the user’s assigned role and permissions.

  • Protect the FCC publishing system from unauthorized access.

  • Maintain appropriate publishing, revision, review, and security records.

FCC Website Editor access is limited to Google accounts specifically authorized by FCC.

Authorized roles may include:

  • Owner

  • Publisher

  • Editor

  • Reviewer

Normal website visitors and readers do not need a Google account to read the public FCC website or Shekhem Mekazin.

Google account data we do not request through sign-in

The FCC Website Editor Google Sign-In process is intended only for authentication and basic account identification.

Through this sign-in process, FCC does not request access to private content such as:

  • Gmail messages

  • Google Drive files

  • Google Contacts

  • Private Google Calendar information

  • Google Photos

  • Other private Google account content

If FCC introduces a feature in the future that requires additional Google permissions, users will be informed and asked to provide appropriate consent before that access is used.

How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to enquiries, prayer requests, messages, or other communications.

  • Provide church information and requested updates.

  • Operate and improve the FCC website.

  • Maintain website security and prevent abuse.

  • Authenticate authorized website administrators and publishing users.

  • Manage website roles and permissions.

  • Maintain article drafts, revisions, reviews, approvals, publication history, and audit records.

  • Understand which website information is useful to visitors.

Website publishing and audit records

For security and accountability, the FCC Website Editor may record information about authorized publishing activity, including:

  • User identity

  • Assigned role

  • Article creation or editing activity

  • Review and approval activity

  • Publishing or unpublishing activity

  • Date and time of important administrative actions

These records are used for website administration, security, revision recovery, and accountability.

Cookies and session information

FCC and its website service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for:

Authorized FCC Website Editor users may receive a secure authentication session cookie after successful sign-in.

FCC does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers used to operate and secure the website, including services such as:

  • Wix, which currently hosts the existing FCC website during the migration period.

  • Cloudflare, which provides infrastructure, website delivery, databases, security, and related services for the rebuilt FCC website.

  • Google, for Google Sign-In and other Google services used by FCC.

  • YouTube and other embedded service providers, when visitors interact with embedded media or external links.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and service terms.

Embedded content and external links

FCC pages may contain or link to third-party services such as:

  • YouTube

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • Google Calendar

  • Google Maps

  • Other external websites or services

When you interact with those services, the third party may collect information according to its own privacy policy.

FCC is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

Data retention

FCC retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for purposes such as:

  • Responding to enquiries.

  • Operating the website.

  • Maintaining authorized editor accounts.

  • Maintaining publishing and revision history.

  • Website security and abuse prevention.

  • Meeting applicable administrative or legal requirements.

Inactive editor accounts may be disabled while appropriate security or audit records are retained where necessary.

Data security

FCC takes reasonable measures to protect information and restrict administrative access.

The rebuilt FCC Website Editor is designed to use server-side authorization and role-based permissions. Authentication credentials and sensitive server secrets are not intended to be exposed publicly through the website.

However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The FCC website serves a general church and community audience.

FCC does not intentionally use the FCC Website Editor to collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information concerning a child has been provided improperly, please contact FCC so appropriate action can be taken.

Your choices and rights

Where applicable, you may contact FCC to request:

  • Access to personal information held about you.

  • Correction of inaccurate information.

  • Deletion of information where appropriate.

  • Deactivation of an authorized FCC Website Editor account.

Certain publishing, security, revision, or audit records may need to be retained when reasonably necessary for administration or security.
